Founded by event aficionado Emily Morbey in 2018, Miss London Concierge is a totally unique concept to venue finding and event booking. Not only do we offer a completely free of charge concierge service, but we also reward our customers with luxury gifts, VIP experiences, and exclusive invitations.

After 12 years of working in some of London’s most popular venues as a Sales and Events Manager, Emily joined SquareMeal Venues & Events. Heading up the Concierge Agency team is where her love and passion for London venues, corporate events, and connecting event professionals blossomed.  After three happy years working her way through the capital’s best venues, building fantastic relationships, Emily launched Miss London Concierge.  You name it, Emily has probably been there and shared a glass of champagne or two with the venue team along the way!

 

Today, MLC’s first-class client list includes household brands including Facebook, ITV and Spotify to name just a few. We help corporate and private clients with all kinds of events, small or large, informal or grand. Our free concierge service covers all types of events from live, hybrid to virtual. Tell us about some of your highlights since starting Miss London Concierge

Being asked to host the first Exclusively London Pavilion at International Confex was a very proud moment. As was winning the LuxLife Magazine award for Best Private Dining Finding Service in 2019 and again in 2020. In our first six months we had the great honour to add Facebook, Spotify, Amazon, CBRE, Snap, and Google to our growing client list, I am always personally grateful to our fabulous clients for their continued support. And how could I leave out the joy of MLC hosting over 50 VIP events at some of the best venues in London and the UK. 

 

Do you have a favourite venue?

I’ve always had a soft spot for The Gherkin from the first moment I visited.  The views, the décor, the design, the location, and the variety of event spaces make it truly special.  We also held an MLC VIP event for 100 of our top clients there, which remains one of my career highlights. It was a magical night!

 

What makes your Miss London Concierge unique?

What makes us unique is the relationships we develop. Firstly, with venues, suppliers, hotels, restaurants across our beautiful capital city London and the UK. Secondly, and most importantly, the relationships we build with our clients through our 1-2-1 service and unrivalled, high-end networking events.  This really is our unique selling point and why our clients use us time and time again, recommending us to their friends and colleagues. What are your company values and mission?

We know how much time and effort goes into searching for the perfect venue and event supplier, which is why we started Miss London Concierge. Over the past 15 years, we have developed a wealth of knowledge and expert contacts in London and across UK venues. How has the event and hospitality industry changed in the last 15 years, and where do you see it going?

Rather than say the industry has changed, I would say it has evolved in response to new opportunities. Technology has allowed us to explore hosting events virtually, using online engagement in new, exciting, and sustainable ways. Who have thought guests would be interacting with each other from their own homes and office in virtual events such as cookery classes, wellness sessions, and disco yoga! And the variety of hampers and delivered gifting options on the market is truly amazing.
